Social Security Benefits in the UK

Rates of benefits normally change once a year - usually in April. Some rates may also change at other times in the year. Up to date rates of social security benfits are available from social security offices, jobcentres and post offices. Most social security benefits can be paid direct into your bank account or building society account, or at your post office by order book, girocheque or Payment Card.
